Great ice cream and super pleasant service.

Had a chocolate peanut butter and salted caramel waffle cone. It was amazing!! The chocolate peanut butter had so much peanut butter in it. It felt like a whole jar!

Overall, the best place to get ice cream in historic Gettysburg. You will get great tasting homemade hard ice cream with a variety of flavors. My favorite is salty caramel. Yum! The portion sizes are plentiful and the prices are reasonable. Make sure that you get the frequent ice cream card. You will get a free one in no time. Do not visit Gettysburg and not stop. You will not be disappointed.

I visit a lot of ice cream spots, and I'm pretty sure this was the best cup I have ever had.

Always a line but very clear as to why after you try it. Great hard homemade ice cream, best in the area. Also really close to a lot of the town just by walking so we always make this a must stop location. Very friendly owners and staff.

We always enjoy Mr. G's. The ice cream is excellent. Chances are in the summer that there will be a line, but you amazingly get to the counter quickly. It is well worth it! Special flavors are available during different seasons. There is seating inside and outside. A connected gift shop has a variety of items to purchase.

After a warm day of exploring the nearby battlefields, it was recommended that we go here to cool off. Don't worry about the long line, they are fast at taking the order and scooping. There is seating both inside and out if you want to hang out. Highly recommend eating here even if you don't think you have room.

This ice cream was SO good after a hot day touring Gettysburg. I was even able to bring my dog in with me as I waited in line and they gave her something as well. Loved it.

Hands down THE BEST ice cream shop around! That line will be 20 deep even on snow days! Homemade Hand dipped ice cream is where it's at. The outside seating can be enjoyed by neighboring businesses with live music. You can also entertain yourself with the Ring on the String game. They also have an awesome gift shop with homemade candles such as waffle cone, salted caramel (my favorite), black raspberry, pure peach, as well as seasonal scents such as apple harvest, falling leaves, and pumpkin scents for fall.

It was okay. I thought it was gonna be better after hearing all the hype about it. The old well outside is cool and the atmosphere was nice.

There are a few ice cream shops downtown but this one is the only one that makes their own waffle cones. They have soft serve and hand dipped varieties of ice cream and sundaes. I was almost going to get the hot fudge pecan royale sundae but they had a pumpkin hand dipped flavor so I opted for that and it was super delicious. The line was a little long but the young kids worked fast. Super happy we went here. Most of the other ice cream shops had no line but the line here said something. There's also a gift shop in the back building.

Sorry, it's not worth an hour wait.I had the salted caramel in a waffle cone and it should have been called chocolate chunk salted caramel. It was littered with a ridiculously huge quantity of chocolate chunks.The Mr. G's sarsaparilla is great.

A friendly and affordable local ice cream shop. We were staying nearly a mile away and walked just for a cone. You won't be disappointed. Try the espresso chip or the pineapple orange!

A great little mom and pop ice cream shop right in the middle of historic Gettysburg. Besides the awesome flavors and menu options available at very reasonable prices (try the Peanut Butter, its amazing!) The shop also serves up some great local sodas, and a real healthy dose of history. Sit inside and take a break from the heat, or out on the deck and get photobombed by thwir civil war soldier statues.

This was my first visit to Mr. G's and I have to say their ice cream is excellent! If you like berries you have to try the Stars and Stripes homemade ice cream! It is delicious!! Will definitely stop again the next time I'm in the area. Hopefully, the Stars and Stripes flavor will remain on their menu.

Mr G's is a Gettysburg staple and a popular place on a warm summer night. The ice cream is excellent and they have a nice area outside for sitting with some games for the kids. Depending on the night and time you can also get the added benefit of live music from the venue next door.

Very good and creamy ice cream. Very limited hours and selection during the winter season. It seems like just dishes and cones in the off-season. No sundaes. Full offer in summer. If you are on the south side of Gettysburg call or look up hours and go.

Amazing! Creamy, fresh ice-cream that's some of the best I've had. The housemade waffle bowl is so toasty tasting and crunchy. Every one of the 6 flavors I tasted is excellent. It was warm bright, and inviting inside including beautiful rustic wood tables and benches. An historic well that was discovered outside seals the experience of having ice-cream in dowtown Gettysburg. I'm going to visit again before u leave town!

This was a very nice place. It is an ice cream shop across from the Farnsworth House-Civil War Campsite. Our ghost tour finished right next to this establishment and so we decided to get an ice cream. It was packed with a line out the door. There is some seating inside but with the line it would have been very difficult to get to. We got two ice creams and they were excellent. If you want a good dessert and a pleasant atmosphere in the middle of Gettysburg then this is the place for you.

Great must-try Ice Cream in Gettysburg. Always an enjoyable place to go for Ice Cream. The only potential issue they have is that in the evenings they often get swamped with people so you might have to wait in line. The earlier you can go the better.

Strawberry milkshake. Splurge and get the large and share it with your wife! Super thick, some of the strawberry chunks clogged up my straw. Totally worth it!
